Our History
In 1989 father and son, Bob and Joe Peifer, started Cloister Tax Services (then known as Peifer Associates) with the intention of providing personable, affordable, tax preparation and bookkeeping services to the residents and businesses of Lancaster County.
Over the years we've held true to the values of providing excellent service at a reasonable price. Since 1989 we've prepared literally thousands of tax returns and we're proud to know that many of our clients have been with us from the very beginning... 21 years and counting!
